About the Role
The VAC Counselling and Alcohol and Drug (AoD) Services Program provides therapeutic counselling to individuals, couples, families and in group programs for the LGBTI community and people at risk of, living with or otherwise affected by HIV or Hepatitis C. Our services also include treatment counselling & care & recovery coordination for AOD users, and behavioural change groups for men in the LGBTI community who are using violence in their relationships.
VAC is seeking a Counsellor to conduct assessments, provide one-on-one counselling and assist in the delivery of therapeutic groups. Providing relationship counselling is also an option for a candidate with the appropriate qualifications. Please note this role is for a twelve month duration.
