Alcohol and other Drugs Counsellor/Care and Recovery Coordinator (CRC)
About the Role
VAC, Victoria’s largest provider of LGBTI health services is now recruiting for an appropriately qualified alcohol and drug treatment professional with counselling and care and recovery skills. Clinically, you will have demonstrable skills and experience in delivering trauma- informed AOD counselling and brief intervention. Knowledge of HIV and Hep C is desirable.
The AOD Counsellor/CRC sits within the Counselling, Alcohol and Drugs Services Program. The successful candidate will continue to build upon the success of the AOD service with a focus on evidence-based treatment. This role requires a commitment to meaningful client involvement and empowerment in their recovery pathway.
